Check what the Temple of Heaven ticket covers
When: Before paying for a Temple of Heaven ticket.
Ask about the Hall of Prayer specifically instead of assuming that park entry includes every building.

When: Before you start
Confirm whether you want the square, the tower or a museum nearby. Check the official reservation channel for that place and time; verify any exemption rather than assuming another museum’s booking covers flag raising.

Free admission still requires a real-name reservation. Open the museum’s official visitor page and its reservation link. Check the confirmation and time slot, then bring the original document used for booking to the North Gate visitor entrance.

When: Before you start
For every booking, check the venue’s Chinese name, date, time slot and visitors. Allow time for travel and checks. If visits overlap, review changes in the original channel; this tool does not reschedule or reserve for you.

When: When something goes wrong
If the online form rejects your number, the Beijing hotline points to staff-assisted ticketing with a passport at the park entrance. Check current availability before travelling; do not apply this advice to the Palace Museum.
