Check my Mutianyu cable-car ticket

When: Before you start
These are different Great Wall destinations. Compare the attraction’s Chinese name on your entry ticket, transport order and map before leaving. A generic “Great Wall” booking is not enough to identify your meeting point.

When: Before you start
Confirm destination, passenger count, return trip, waiting time, meeting point and total fare before agreeing. Ask whether parking and road tolls are included. Keep the driver’s agreed details in your own booking or messages.

When: At the location
Check the operator and direction on each ticket before joining a queue. The enclosed cable car and chairlift/toboggan are separate products. Ask what your actual ticket permits; do not assume you can mix operators.

When: At the location
Before climbing, confirm today’s last descent ride and the separate return bus or car meeting point. Ask staff or your booked operator to write the time. Do not rely on an old timetable or assume park shuttles go to central Beijing.

When: When something goes wrong
Follow current staff instructions and closure signs. Ask which return route remains open and check any refund with the seller of that specific ticket. Do not enter a closed route or assume weather automatically guarantees a refund.
